Error when shutting down the program.

Postby AylaAsperger » Thu Jul 07, 2005 9:16 pm

I have windows XP and I'm working in a user account daily.
When I shut down Sudoku it says: 'Acces to a file without name denied'
and when I want to start Sudoku after that it won't work at all.

The only option I have is go to my process list and kill the Sud.exe process, then it works next time I start it.

When I login as admin I don't have that problem. Changing the user directories with 'set directories' does not solve the problem.

Hello AylaAsperger.

I'm sorry, I owe you my apologies. There is a known issue with the Sudoku program and User accounts. They don't play nicely together.

I will fix it in the next release. In the meantime, the work-around is to either
(a) uninstall Sudoku and re-install it in the Administrator account; or
(b) alter Permissions on the User Account directory where sud.exe (the Sudoku program file) is located.

Plese send me an email (using the email button below) if you need further information.
