dubbing

Postby AMRI » Tue Jun 10, 2008 5:39 pm

I entered clues from a sudoku book and the dubbing program could not verify the puzzle. It asks if there could be too few clues, or mistakes in the clues I entered, or "too many" clues. I don't understand how "too many" clues can be a problem. Can anyone explain that for me? Thanks in advance.

By "too many clues" it could mean that some of the clues contradict with each other. If you left some of the clues out there might be a valid unique solution, but with all of the clues given there is no solution possible.

Just a random thought.:)
