Hi Nathan,

A saved puzzle is simply a file on your computer. The easiest way would be to highlight it in the "Open" dialog box and hit the delete key on your keyboard.

DUB delete

Scott thanks for your response. I had tried that initially. It doesn't work. The program shuts down. I think there is a program design change needed to allow deletion of items in the OPEN window.

Hi Nat,

There's nothing about the program itself that should cause this program, and I'm afraid I haven't heard of this issue before. Sudoku simply hooks into the built-in Windows dialog boxes. Please send me an email, using the button below, with some information about your computer (Windows version, status of Windows Updates, etc.) and we can investigate further.

DUB troubleshooting

Postby Nathan A Friedman » Wed Sep 20, 2006 8:34 pm

Hi Scott, thanks again for trying to solve this problem.
I have a DELL computer with Windows XP and a Intel Pentium 4 processor.
40gig hard drive 2gig RAM. All windows updates are current, including PAC-2. I don't know what other info you would like.....

In short, it just seems that when I highlight the DUB that I want to delete, the windows task bar becomes inactive and Sudoku shuts down. I tried to do a Print Screen to show you the message that I get, but of course I can't put that into this dialog. If you wish to see it, give me your e-mail address and I will send it to you on an Outlook e-mail.
Thanks,
Nat
