Djape's killer site

Postby jimbob » Thu Dec 07, 2006 8:49 pm

Is it just me or is anybody else having trouble accessing DJ's site this week?

I don't know if it's my system or if there is a problem elsewhere.

Thanks for any feedback.

Thanks - I guess the problem is my end somewhere.

Trying this morning using the usual route and your link I got in once out of six times, and even that time couldn't switch pages once I got there.

:idea:Some random advices:

Check your network connection settings... If you're using a proxy server try to disable it... If you're not using one try to find one (google "proxy servers" should get you some)...

If you're using Windows, click "Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt", and in the Command Prompt window type in "ping www.djape.net", and see how the connection goes... For comparison, try "ping www.sudoku.com" and see the difference...

If you're accessing all other websites fine but only have difficulties with the djape website, perhaps someone with the same ISP as you has been blacklisted by djape, thus the connection difficulties (but it's purely my speculation)...

If you still have problems, you should contact your ISP and provide them with a traceroute from your computer to the unreachable host(s).

Beeing on a *nix System, the command is "traceroute www.djape.net
I'm not familiar with Windows, but if my memory serves me well, the Windows command is "tracert www.djape.net"
Hope this helps
