I installed the program on May 31 and it worked fine. On June 1 I installed a different program which turned out to be a mistake. I used the System Restore facility in Windows XP to remove it, but was unable to prevent the removal of Sudoku at the same time. Trying to reinstall the program today I am getting the message that the following file is missing:
C:\ PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\MIMARS~1\INSTAL~1\{FB505~1\{C8A52~1\OFFLINE\0\Sud.exe.
Is theere anything I can do?

I think you will need to do a re-install of the Sudoku program, just as if you were doing it for the first time. That means getting a fresh download from www.sudoku.com/download.htm , but before doing so, you need to wipe the slate clean to start again.
