I dislike notational issues, and apologize for any confusion I have introduced.

The notation, ANP(45=7)r3c89, was intended to present the als(457)r3c89 viewed as an "almost naked pair", ANP(45=7). That is, either the locked set (45)r3c89 is true or r3c9=7. I originally saw this notation format on the Dailysudoku forum and have been using it for an long time.
