Creating a difficult sudoku puzzle book!

Postby kiwiheadphones » Thu Apr 25, 2019 8:43 pm

Hi guys! My boyfriend's birthday is coming up, and I thought it'd be fun to make him a sudoku puzzle book as a gift because he loves them but seems to get through his puzzle books insanely fast. I've seen on here that there are online resources for generating sudokus, but could someone point me in the direction of one which generates genuinely challenging puzzles? Maybe a variety, in case I'm overestimating his talent haha - I know very little about sudokus but he seems like he knows what he's doing with his weird notation! Thought I'd print some out and make them into a DIY booklet. Any help/advice - or pointers to challenging books if there are any! - would be much appreciated.

You can try Andrew Stuart's site here to buy packs of puzzles, or the Hodoku site here.

Hodoku is free software, which amongst many things, will allow you to create puzzles of varying levels of difficulty, or you can just use their collection of sample puzzles.
