Join us the night before the The Philadelphia Inquirer Sudoku National Championship at the magnificent Independence Seaport Museum on Penn’s Landing for this year’s Friday Welcome Reception.
From 6–7 p.m. tour the Independence Seaport Museum and discover the rich history Philadelphia has on the water. Afterwards, enjoy cocktails, appetizers and conversations with other Sudoku enthusiasts in the Museum’s Spinnaker Room and outdoor terrace, which provides panoramic views of the Delaware River and the Philadelphia skyline. Mingle with Will Shortz, Maki Kaji, the man who gave Sudoku its name, last year’s winners, and other notable Philadelphians.
