Some time ago, I rewrote some sudoku, constraints and clueless code to make clueless puzzles with multiple constraint combinations:

- sudoku --> clueless-special
- diagonal --> clueless-special-X

- asterisk --> clueless-asterisk
- center dot --> clueless-explosion
- disjoint groups --> clueless-disjoint
- girandola --> clueless-girandola
- windoku --> clueless-windoku

- asterisk + diagonal --> clueless-asterisk-X
- center dot + diagonal --> clueless-explosion-X
- disjoint groups + diagonal --> clueless-disjoint-X
- girandola + diagonal --> clueless-girandola-X
- windoku + diagonal --> clueless-windoku-X

- asterisk + windoku --> clueless-clover
- center dot + windoku --> clueless-centerdoku

Notes about all the clueless puzzles:
- all 10 grids are of the SAME sudoku type
- all centerdot clueless puzzles use the centerdots for the 10th clueless grid
- all non-centerdot clueless puzzles use the center boxes for the 10th clueless grid
- all the clueless puzzles are EASY, requiring singles only to complete
- all puzzles require constraint singles to complete

I have future(!) plans to produce more difficult clueless puzzles, but I have not looked at the code for several months now...

You may want to include this subtype of Clueless special I've created years ago. I called clueless Implosion. It will save you from printing the extra 10 grid (although you can still use it). In this version the extra requirement is that Grid 5 equals the Clueless (Grid 10)

CENTERDOKU is clueless explosion + windoku.
CLUELESS-EXPLOSION-X is (very) hard or i am missing something, because normal CLUELESS-EXPLOSION was solvable. But i can confirm it has a single solution.
The rest is solvable with easy tactics.

That was a very easy puzzle to demonstrate the variant. More difficult puzzles with a better design will require some interaction in grid 5. In any case you still need the centre box in grids 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9 to solve the centre box in grid 5.

CENTERDOKU is clueless explosion + windoku.

This is correct. It's just the way I've named the files, could have been named 'explosiondoku'! but working with so many clueless subtypes, I came up with these names to avoid confusing myself!!
- center dot --> explosion
- center dot + windoku --> centerdoku

All the generated clueless'es share the same code, e.g. for center-dot (explosion), diagonal (X), etc, so I think this CLUELESS-EXPLOSION-X is correct. In my solver, it requires:
405 Naked Singles
154 Hidden Singles
5 Center Dot Hidden Singles (3 in the clueless puzzle)
21 Diagonal Hidden Singles (2 in the clueless puzzle)

I don't think there is a published 'standard' definition of clueless explosion. In Ruud's clueless explosion (I believe, he created this variant, and if I'm wrong someone here will correct me), his clueless was vanilla sudoku.

In all my clueless'es, all 10 grids are of the same sudoku type - I specifically say so in the 1st post of all the clueless'es I've published. In 'Sudoku variants', sudoku variations exist...

Here are 2 clueless-girandola-X, so with 9 clueless middle boxes that forms the 10th Sudoku, that is also GX.
And the middle band and stack of boxes are also clueless.
Because no special methods are needed, both should be easy for P&P solvers, but I doubt it.
