I'm a long time sudoku player, and a silent reader of this forum.

Today I decided to become a member in order to share this one with you guys.

I am not responsible for your loss of free time.

They call it: Hidato.

This is a puzzle where the constraint CONSECUTIVE is forced.

A similar concept would be the NON-CONSECUTIVE constraint.

It would be interesting to see one (actually I can try & make one if I had the time) where it can be applied to a whole sudoku grid (where the 9 connects next to a 1 or an 8)

The solution can be reprsented with a SINGLE line:D . The toridal variant would be AWESOME.

My thoughts for a full 9*9 sudoku would be that jumping from 1 box to another requires a 9 to 1 connection....

That means that apart from the 1st 1 & last 9 .........1s & 9s have to be at the border between boxes
