BBCode

Postby bat999 » Sat Jan 24, 2015 1:05 am

Hi
When posting, it says "BBCode is ON".
It doesn't seem to support the [s]strikethrough text[/s] tag.
Can this be added?

(Please :D )

I second that as it makes editing an error in a previous post easier.

Other features that would be most welcome would be
a) the ability to colour or underline text in a code box
b) support for hard spaces to allow tabulation in the main text
but I suppose they're wishful thinking!

Adding strikethrough is simple enough.

Supporting hard spaces in the main body of the message is a direct violation of the entire concept of BBCode, and thus unlikely to ever happen.

The basis of the current implementation of the code tag is that it does not interpret BBCode commands, so even though that is allowed in principal, it is also unlikely to ever happen.
