Yes. It's a good solution but needs that memory. I did something similar in mine using star notation.
My suggestion for Ngisa's chain would be:
(1=7)r3*c7-(7=142)r9c567-(2=1)r8c5-(1=96)r46c5-(6=7)r2c5-r2*3c12=r1c3-r9c3=(7)r9c7 => -7r3c7; stte
