it has been a while since i've shared a puzzle here-- i recently left a job and moved house, so i've been quite busy.
i know that this puzzle is equivalent to a standard sukaku, but i like this presentation a bit more:

standard sudoku, but any of the given digits may or may not be above or below their given value by one. it is not a toroidal constraint, so 9 does not wrap around to 1, it is only 8 or 9.
