This nice patriotic Killer puzzle is designed by mikejapan (off a DJape book puzzle solution), one of the more active members of the "DJape killer sudoku" community (aka killerholics).
It is a Killer X (diagonal) puzzle, and 2 of the cage sums are represented by the letters U & K, which sum to 17 together (no idea if 17 is somehow related to UK). The solution is unique, and achievable by pure logic.
