You're right, it is... it turns out to be the same puzzle after all (it is the canonical form of droid42's puzzle which I use for indexing puzzles)

when a swordfish is mentioned, the number "3" comes into mind

focus on the 1st 15, the last 3 have some Red Herrings (swordfish in this case)

I will be trying to deploy recent concepts adapted on the Jellyfish thread here........

gsf's batch solver should work here too so that everyone can check longlist of puzzles prior to posting.

Checking for -J variability is bit tiresome here as we are dealing with nearly 50 puzzles.

I have almost 500K minimal puzzles with this pattern, and decided to check (using my own software) which ones would fit in this category. I think this does fit, what is the command line using gsf's?

It will roughly correspond to the scores described in the head post (multiply by 10) save for minor differences regarding Soring an "8".

I haven't checked your latest puzzles yet Mauricio....

This is gsf's sudoku parameters for MANUALLY checking EACH puzzle

Each line must be used seperately AND only on a single puzzle.....

Both lines should hopefully be identical & the min(W3) is what you are after (Required swordfish) ...
