No need to care about red herrings.

Applying susume's technique reduce the puzzles to singles in a minute.
Just eliminate the 3 missing numbers in the jellyfish block in all cells r2468c13579 to get the first naked single (r7c3=8, r7c3=6, r9c9=6).

I agree that susume's technique is an easy way of spotting Jellyfish ....

But if you weren't seeing this puzzle in the PURE JELLYFISH THREAD

Yes of course, hidden (pair) singles are easier than naked ones. Normally i would see that first. But now i have learned it, when i see a jellyfish pattern in the givens, i immediatlely look, if a number is missing there

Thanks chmpagne,

As you can see non of the previous submissions were lost even with the loss of the old forum as I kept the database of all submissions on my computer.

All Jellyfish puzzles can be downloaded with their relevant scores.

It seems that lately, all puzzle submissions are coming from the patterns game. That increased the pure jellyfish count significantly.

The Pure Jellyfish was such a rare creature ... Now many can enjoy playing so many of these puzzle that would last them a lifetime.

There is no reason why you can't dump all your jellyfish puzzles here. If they don't make the Pure Jellyfish List they can at least stay for Jellyfish catchers to enjoy.
