Yet another totally free Sudoku program

Postby patoneil » Thu Dec 15, 2005 1:45 am

Here is another totally free Sudoku program that you can host on your own web site without restrictions. It's a full function solver and provides a nice set of customizable features. It's totally client side javascript, css and html.

Thanks for the feedback. I have fixed the problems reported. If you find any more, just let me know.

Check updates for fixes

I have fixed a number of minor bugs and exposed more of the CSS so that you may create checkerboard layouts.

If you have downloaded earlier, I suggest that you download the latest code to insure you don't run into any problems.

The site is http://sudoku.pjoneil.net

This is still a work in progress and feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Version 2 is now available

Postby patoneil » Fri Feb 03, 2006 7:50 am

Version 2 of web based Sudoku is now available. It now contains a new menu structure, is faster and is more customizable than before. The menu and puzzle colors and border colors and sizes are easily changed to give a customize appearance.

It is consistent across all browsers!!!

The solver support most of the solving techniques including x-wings.

All of the menus and messages are contained in a separate file to facilitate translation. I am hoping that I can get some volunteers to translate into different languages.

As before, it's totally free for both private and commercial usage. Check it out at http://sudoku.pjoneil.net
