Hi RaiderFan92,

It's great to know you are interested in Sudoku puzzles. No offence intended but as your say you are a newcomer to Sudoku your initial request to learn what loops and chains are is akin to jumping into the deep end of a pool and asking how to swim.:)

There are many links mentioned throughout the forum which explain the basic techniques of sudoku and these include the following...

http://www.angusj.com/sudoku/hints.php
http://www.sadmansoftware.com/sudoku/techniques.htm
http://www.scanraid.com/BasicStrategies.htm

As you have specifically requested help to understand what "loops and chains" means you can read the explanations described HERE

Good luck with your homework:)

Thanks! I didnt mean specifically links and chains. What I meant was all of that stuff. Like X-Wing, Swordfish, Forcing chains, loops. That stuff. Thanks!
