Welcome, Sweden's Aftonbladet

Postby Pappocom » Sun Jun 12, 2005 9:28 pm

Glad to have you with us, Sweden - or at least, the readers of Aftonbladet. As from June 13, you can enjoy a daily Sudoku, Monday through Saturday.

Pappocom's Sudoku first appeared in the Conway Daily Sun, New Hampshire, USA in September 2004, and it has appeared in The Times (of London) since November 2004.

Don't be put off by some of the complicated-sounding posts in these forums. In some parts of the world they have got quite expert already. If you want help, just send in your question, and you are certain to get a friendly reply.

Only for Plus-members

Sadly, Aftonbladet has chosen to put their Sudokus in the "plus" section, for which you have to pay a monthly fee. Other papers in Sweden that have Sudoku are the 2 main morning papers, Svenska Dagbladet and Dagens Nyheter. Both of them so far have only had rather simple Sudokus, even though Svenska Dagbladet now has an interactive Sudoku with 3 levels.

It would be nice to have something similar to the Times Sudokus with Fiendish once in a while...........
