I'm after a website & an App that will allow me to enter a puzzle from elsewhere & then solve it.

Hi Larry,
You can try Andrew Stuart's website. Press the button 'Import a Sudoku' and paste a string of 81 characters. Now you can edit the candidates by yourself. You can also get help from the solver by clicking the button 'Take Step'. Good luck!

You can also enter a puzzle # here: https://www.atksolutions.com/games/sudoku.html

It needs to be formatted like this:
https://www.atksolutions.com/games/sudoku.html?puzzle=..7..64...1.5...2.9...3....8...9.....4.2...6...2..1..3..5..4.9..6....7.1...8..6..

where you just need to add the ?puzzle=..7..64...1.5...2.9...3....8...9.....4.2...6...2..1..3..5..4.9..6....7.1...8..6.. and the 81 digits, use a period if the digit is unknown.

In addition, if you wanted to play a different puzzle type, you can choose the puzzle style and then play

So if you see a good WindokuX puzzle that you want to try, get the puzzle string and add it to the URL, when the game opens, choose the puzzle style "Window Sudoku X" and click "Play My Puzzle"
