Does indeed look like a beast. Would help, however, to know how far you got. Hopefully you found the 3 in r3c6.

Hi storm_norm & welcome to the forum,

I think you're new here but not new to sudoku.......

this one IS a toughie .........

I couldn't get around it .... my solver also had to go to contradiction chains to solve it (& it wasn't that pretty)........
