Hello, I have recently discovered Sudoku due to my friend buying the daily mirror just for the game! I was reading The Sunday Times at home and came across it, and started to play. It's very addictive..! I am trying to complete a puzzle from Sunday 7th August, named 'The Superior Version'. Is this very hard?! I have looked for extra hints and help on the forum but most of the talk is of no meaning to me! I am really VERY new! I have no idea what swordfish or anything else is..but i really would like to be able to complete some puzzles more easily! A the moment i have only filled in 2 blanks! If anyone is willing to help me, (preferably with basic language) I would greatly appreciate it!

I'm guessing at what the 2 you have filled in are, but have a very close look at columns 4 and 6. You should be able to fill in some more there, then have a close look at box 8.
