Well, HoDoKu rates this puzzle as ‘unfair’ because the sum of the weighs of the methods used is 1652, which is not very big. On the contrary, YZF_Solver rates this puzzle as Extreme 8.4, and that is why I asked my first question. I am not an expert but I agree with you that this puzzle is very hard for manual solving. Actually, no progress can be made with only the basic AICs without ALS’s, and the key to this puzzle is ALS r789c1, r9c3, which was used in your and Leren’s solutions.

Despite of its complexity for a human, this puzzle is solvable in one main step, and I think that the simplest way is as follows.
Almost Locked Set XZ-Rule: (3) r1c3 - (3=5)b7p1479 - (5=3)r1c158 => -3 r1c3; btte (singles and a naked triple).

Such a chain is obtainable manually with coloring methods. The most difficult is to spot the AHS node (516-3)b7p268 [or (516-3)r79c2.r8c3]. With locked bystanders 1 and 6 forming each conjugate pairs, it is not infeasible, but I'm not saying it to be easy.
