Hi Sharon,
I think that this one is solvable without resorting to naked/hidden pairs, though it's not particularly easy to spot.
Assuming you've put the same 17 numbers in that I did first, you need to look at which squares hold the possibility '9' - you should be able to eliminate some within the first three columns, and this will leave you with a single possibility in one of the rows. From there it's simply a matter of finding naked singles.
If that doesn't make any sense, or you can't see what I mean, then it probably means that you've got a different 17 numbers to me, in which case you'd better post the grid that you'd reached!
