Yes its quite difficult to find them de novo,
JPF found the first one ...
however once one is found then a morphing program [gridchecker] can find others with the same pattern ...
A while back I found over 500 this way ..... of course its easy to add 3 clues to all the ED B159 and the projected number of ED puzzles was around 600
Removing clues from the B159 to give minimal puzzles might give harder puzzles but even when you can remove more than 2 clues - harder puzzles are not produced..
