This one is driving me bonkers

Postby yaaaay » Tue May 16, 2006 10:42 am

A friend of mine sent this to me:
http://sudokuhelper.kevinpluck.net/?g=0avd2ZEJppMILKJG4m4u86SM80c3Gu82c6q0JoM0E9bEe24Y4P0GwEh84Z4BG133GW1JPF8259W0YOIC044OpX0YoI0E6GsG0MKqW1M6a110u500Ecam8qs620

I am completly stumped, I have only found one number! I can't spot any naked pairs, rectangles or x-wings. The only thing I can think of would be swaord fishes, but I don't know how to spot them.

Please help!

this is the puzzle in question: (would be nice if you could post it like this)
Code: Select all
7 . . | . . . | 4 . .
. 2 . | . 7 . | . 8 .
. . 3 | . . 8 | . . 9
------+-------+------
. . . | 5 . . | 3 . .
. 6 . | . 2 . | . 9 .
. . 1 | . . 7 | . . 6
------+-------+------
. . . | 3 . . | 9 . .
. 3 . | . 4 . | . 6 .
. . 9 | . . 1 | . 3 5

It reminds me of something I have seen before. Is this one of your creations Vidar?

Anyway, this is a really hard puzzle, and I can't be of any assistance here...
