Hi,

I got this soft.
Really good job, except for one feature I cannot disable :
When I want to put a number in a box, only the right number is allowed to be written...
I'd prefer that people can mistake.
Is it possible to disable this feature...
I tried every options I found but it is still on !

Subsidiary question : it looks like it is possible toi open Sudoku file...
Where is it possible to get some ?
And by the way.. how can people guess when they create their own Sudoku how hard is their Sudoku.. I mean ois there a mathematical model beside ? Or is it just the feeling to judge how easy/hard a level can be ?

If I understand you correctly, by "only the right number is allowed to be written" means when you put in the WRONG number, it changes the colour to red? To disable this, go to View > Game Options > on tab General 2: Hall of Fame, disable the "flag wrong ones" checkbox. Then if you enter incorrect numbers it won't tell you - you'll work it out yourself sooner or later.

As to your other questions, I haven't reached the stage of loading in other files. Am trying to make my own puzzles by hand, and when I dub them into Sudoku I believe the difficulty level given is based partly on the number of clues in the puzzle. But I'm sure there are other things considered as well - I'm still learning all this too, so will be interested to see what the more experienced players say on this.

Out of interest, what program are you running? I've got Sudoku, from THIS website, and just downloaded it a few days ago - it's version 1.00.03! If you have version 4-something, I'm guessing we're not running the same program!?
