The slash pattern was proposed here :
Here's an easy example :
Code: Select all
 . . . . . . . 1 2
 . . . . . . 3 4 5
 . . . . . 3 6 7 .
 . . . . 2 6 8 . .
 . . . 9 3 8 . . .
 . . 1 5 7 . . . .
 . 1 5 2 . . . . .
 9 7 4 . . . . . .
 8 3 . . . . . . .

minimal, all singles, SE=2.0, 7 steps.

At the opposite, here's a minimal puzzle with SE=9.0 :
Code: Select all
 . . . . . . . 1 2
 . . . . . . 3 4 5
 . . . . . 5 6 7 .
 . . . . 8 2 9 . .
 . . . 1 5 9 . . .
 . . 1 6 3 . . . .
 . 3 4 8 . . . . .
 1 7 6 . . . . . .
 9 5 . . . . . . .

Some more minimal slash pattern puzzles :

so you're trying for tough puzzles --
but along the way, perhaps you've also generated other levels?
e.g. suitable contributions for "ulterior" or "superior plus" (or anything in between)

      thanks!

I have no idea about what your post was intended to suggest.

The data you showed us hints that hard puzzles are most common, although pretty easy ones can happen.

What is the intent of this post?
