In killer sudoku(sum number place) we get rid of the clues and replace them with sums and cages...

Now the "mother" of killer sudoku, Ms Miyuki Misawa, has gone one step further - she got rid of the sums and replaced them with < and = !

Just 8 symbols in the 2nd one... but it does yield a unique solution! How beautiful!

Didn't realise we have that forum in this site! Thanks for pointing me there. Just checked with my answer, your progress in that thread is correct so far! So carry on with your journey. If needed I could provide some pointers too. Cheers!

PS: Sorry but have to brag a bit, it took me a total of 1.5 hrs to crack the 2 puzzles together... must be the training from djape's daily killers!
