I'm beat. Sudoku Susser (Mac vs. 2.5.5) says that this puzzle is "Invalid - Multiple Solutions":-

You may have made a transcription error when you dubbed the puzzle into Susser.

Thanks Ruud. My mistake was I left out the 9 at R9C2 both on my working sheet and in entering it into Susser. Silly me! OK now.
