Sudokusolver gone?

Postby flipp » Fri Jun 27, 2008 11:02 pm

Does anyone know where sudokusolver.co.uk has gone?
Has it just moved, or gone for keeps?

It's right here (and has been for some time):

Thanks enxio - nice program, but a different one.

The one I've lost was http://www.sudokusolver.co.uk/ and it was up a little over a week ago.

I have a copy

I put a copy of the solver, that I saved last year, on my own site (http://www.anderbok.com/SudokuSolver/SudokuSolver.htm). It is not a very good solver though, because it is slow, has few methods and the difficulty grading is very poor. The advantage is that it prints the solving steps in detail. Try __1_4_6__+8__7____2+_3___1_4_+_____5_9_+___6____1+____8_3__+_8___9_5_+__4_7____+1__2____7 and you'll see how slow it is (several minutes).
