I recently bought 2 magazines with Sudoku puzzles, one by Games magazine, and the The Ultimate Sudoku Challenge book by Will Shortz, New York Times puzzle editor.
I'd appreciate hearing other folks' opinions of these sorts of publications as I am unhappy with them. I have no confidence that there is just one solution, and in the case of the Ultimate book, I found the easy problems to be beyond a beginner level. I am used to Pappocom puzzles, and I have learned that his have spoiled me!
What is your experience? What magazines/books do you recommend, and which do you find inadequate?

The Times Publishes Pappocom puzzles in a Book with easy, medium, difficult and Fiendish puzzles in them. see here
don't know if you can get them in the States, but the books a very popular in the UK.
