Sudoku Helper / Tool / not Solver (www.noitavo.com)

Hi, I have for a long time search for a simple tool:

1. Where I can put in my own start numbers (from newspaper etc.)
2. That eliminates not valid options (row, column, sector)
3. Where I can delete more numbers myself (out of techniques: twins ...)

At last I found one at www.noitavo.com. This has helped me speed up and solve more sudoku's each day. I feel I do the same thinking, but I have got "a virtual secretary" to do the routine paperwork.

Have anyone seen other tools like this ?

Very simple - and useful - www.noitavo.com

Hi, I have used the Sudoku Secretary at www.noitavo.com for quite a time. I find it easy-to-understand and it gives very good overview of the possibilities.

I have tried many of the other tools, but this is the one that encrease my solving speed most. The reason is that I can remove numbers myselves (after the tool has cleared columns, rows and sectors). Then the solos appears clearly- one after another.

Those were my requirements when I created my javascript sudoku. Give http://heuscher.ch/Sudoku a try. It also works offline (just "Save as..." to disk or usb stick).
