suidoku code

Hi rockingroshan,

I'm not sure what you want so I'm assuming you are new to sudoku.

A sudoku puzzle is a grid of 81 cells comprising nine rows and nine columns. "Given" numbers or "clues"are provided in some of the cells with a minimum number of 17 "clues". A completed sudoku requires that every row, every column, and every 3 x 3 box contains the digits 1 through 9.

If you click on the following links you can read up the Basic Terminology and the rules of playing sudoku together with some basic hints for solving puzzles:

I hope this helps you.

I'm guessing that by 'code', rockmgroshman is asking for way to generate a Sududo grid. One that he can pencil in a puzzle to. Or perhaps one that he can copy/paste a puzzle into. Suducue
http://www.sudocue.net/download.php
is a software that will do this. You also need to download an sdk kit for it to work.
SudokuExplainer
http://diuf.unifr.ch/people/juillera/Sudoku/Sudoku.html
does this as well. Although it refuses to take your word for candidates and generates its own when you paste in a puzzle.

Or perhaps 'code' means he wants a method of pasting a puzzle into the forum to ask a question about it. How bout it, rock?
