I am new to Su Doku and still learning. Would appreciate assistance with the following puzzle from the Times. I solved by gussing, but think there must be solid logic that could be used.

Thanks, solved the puzzle. I didn't save the puzzle number from the Times and could not search for it. I appreciate the lead.

If the puzzle is from a pappocom publication such as the times then the solution is on this website.

Go to "solutions" on the home page.

That only gives solutions though.
