in column 8, you've marked a pair of 2's and 9's, so no other cells in that column can be 2 or 9

so where can you put a 9 in row 7?

Your PM diagram appears to contain some errors, although your solved cells are all OK. I think this is where you should be :

Code: Select all
*-------------------------------------------*
| 27-9 8  1   | 5   4   27   | 3    29 6    |
| 4    36 79  | 236 389 1278 | 1279 15 1257 |
| 27-9 36 5   | 236 39  127  | 1279 8  4    |
|-------------+--------------+--------------|
| 5    1  23  | 4   38  9    | 6    7  28   |
| 6    9  4   | 7   5   28   | 128  3  128  |
| 8    7  23  | 23  1   6    | 5    4  9    |
|-------------+--------------+--------------|
|*9-1  2  6   | 8   7   3    | 4    15 15   |
| 137  5  8   | 9   2   4    | 17   6  137  |
| 37-9 4  7-9 | 1   6   5    | 2789 29 2378 |
*-------------------------------------------*

As 999_Springs hinted, there is only one 9 in Row 7, so you can mark it off there as I've shown. The puzzle solves easily from there, with just singles.
