Hi! I am new to this forum and Sudoku, and got stuck with this puzzle. Wonder if anyone can help me with a hint/lead?

If you look in column 9, both the possible 1s are in the same box, meaning one of them must be true. That means you can erase the other 1s from the same box. That should get you rolling again.

Hi suzette,

Looking at the original puzzle & then at the pencilmarks,

it must be annoying to miss something which you've on several occasions in the same puzzle managed to spot & successfully eliminate candidates........
