Simple Sudoku Program query

Postby Cec » Thu Mar 16, 2006 2:53 am

Hope I'm posting this in the correct forum. When I attempt to copy and paste the puzzle grid in this Thread into the Simple Sudoku Solver "it" doesn't work. I normally don't have a problem doing this so is it the way the grid
has been posted?

Works for me (and I tried both grids in that thread).
Are you sure you're using the latest version?

Cec,

It did the same to me, although I was able to enter it manually. I really have no idea why it wouldn't accept the copy and paste version. The grid seems to be in the same format as other puzzles that I've copied & pasted.
Haven't been much help, just wanted to let you know I had the same problem.

After seeing Angusj's post, I tried it again and I noticed that if I only included the space in row 9 that contained the (.) which represents r9c9 or the space after that, the puzzle would copy & paste correctly. If I included two spaces after the last (.) then it wouldn't. Hope that helps.

Tracy
