When a 2 set ALS is fully notated, as above, the ALS XZ Rule X=6 Z=3 part is purely discretionary. Solvers here, particularly SteveG48, are now sometimes using 2 set ALS constructs within their chains and the notation clearly shows the restricted common (X) and the target digit (Z) so it seems redundant to declare an ALS XZ Rule when there are just 2 solitary sets.

Still, full disclosure, I've always looked on 2, 3, 4 set ALSs as simply ALS chains without the need to give them separate names (XZ Rule, XY-WIng, XY Chain).
