(2=1) r5c3 - r3c3 = (1-5) r3c1 = (5-2) r1c1 = (2) r1c5 => - 2 r5c5; stte

Also solves with 2 Skyscrapers in 2. Single digit templating requires 2 in r1c5 and r4c6; stte. Is there a fish interpretation in there somewhere ?

Simple coloring of the 2's, with sub-chains.
(2)r4c6 = r2c6 - r1c5 = r1c1* - r6c1 = r6c8# - r9c8 = r9c2 => -2 r4c1*, r4c2, r4c7#; stte

Remembering a digit is enough here:
(2r2c13=*r1c1)-r6c1=r6c8-r9c8=r9c2-*r46c1,r4c2=r5c3-r5c5=r1c5 => -2r1c1,r2c5; stte

Some fun with the 2s grid...
All cells marked (*) are stte exclusions. All unmarked cells can eventually "see" a marked exclusion (in b125) via X-chains. So, here are just a few simple patterns having those stte exclusions. Chains for the fins(f), guardians(g), and kraken digits are left for the reader to easily construct. Example chains are shown in the last kraken unit listed below. Hint: The weak link, r6c1 - r1c1, forms an important bridge between two clusters in the grid.

Finned 1-Fish:
Code: Select all
        r4\c6 + rfr4c127       => -2r2c6
Franken r4\b5 + rfr4c127       => -2r5c5
Sashimi r4\c5 + fr4c6 rfr4c127 => -2r5c5
Sashimi c3\r1 + fr2c3 rfr58c3  => -2r1c1

5-link Oddagons:
Code: Select all
r4c27,b9p48,r9c2 + gr4c16,r5c7,r8c2 => -2r1c1
r4c16,b2p26,r1c1 + gr4c27,r268c1    => -2r1c1

Kraken units:
Row r4 => -2r1c1
Box b4 => -2r1c1
Code: Select all
Col c3 => -2r1c1:
r8c3 - r9c2 = r9c8 - r6c8 = r6c1 - 2r1c1;
r5c3 - r5c5 = r1c5               - 2r1c1;
r2c3                             - 2r1c1;
