Well, looking at Hodoku's offerings, I'd be pleasantly surprised if someone could find a solution that didn't revolve around those ALSs one way or another. A bit of a bummer if my solution drained the well. I was looking forward to seeing something more creative, but it might be that only more complicated variants of the same exist

I came up with a fairly nice basics solution, but it was still twice as long as yours.
