satisfaction

i think i got more satisfaction from completing a fendish su doku puzzle then the samurai as the time implied it was slightly esaier then previous weeks and the fendish requires a lot of logic to even get started!
also just generally how many people time themselves when doing this puzzles? i have no idea what are good times.
the best I completed an easy puzzle was 4 minutes and a fendish is usually 35 minutes and just wandered what the time they should take to complete

Funny you should say that, I have just started timing them, which i've never done before. Over a sample of 5 fiendish and 1 mild, the mild took me 4 minutes, and the Fiendish really vary. I did No.173 in 29 minutes, but that is well below average, and definitely my best ever. The others were 45 minutes to an hour. I try and avoid pencilmarks unless I haven't put a number in for about 15 minutes.

I heard Carol Vorderman does the fiendish ones in about 19 minutes, but thinks she can get them down to 15. Wow!
