Sadman Sudoku / Simon Armstrong?

I tried to access the Sadman Software site today and got a DNS not found error. Has Simon Armstrong pulled the plug or disappeared? I have found his Sadman Sudoku program to be especially useful in printing out puzzles four to a page in a convenient format for folding and taking with me.

I have found the same thing. He might have pulled the plug, but it also occurred to me that some other site or person might have taken it over.

The MARCH 3, 2021 snapshot on the internet archive (wayback machine) site shows:
Code: Select all
SadMan Software is Closing
It was fun while it lasted, but the time has come to hang up the keyboard, and say farewell.

Thank you to all who helped along the way.

SadMan

The last version of the sadman sudoku software that can be downloaded from there is: 5.3.0.172 (captured 4 Nov 2018) - the file size is 1,545,527 bytes.

This software appears to be hosted on a 3rd-party web site - the file size is bigger (bloated) by about an extra 185K. A case of caveat emptor!
