Hi Robert,
since you used a very long chain in your site, I point out a solution using a very long chain too:

Single(s): 9r6c2, 8r8c4, 5r8c7, 5r7c5, 1r6c3, 3r5c7
Box/Line: 9r8b7 => -9r9c1 -9r9c3
Box/Line: 5c8b6 => -5r5c9 -5r6c9
Hidden pairs: 34b7p27 => -7r7c2 -2r9c1 -6r9c1
Box/Line: 7c2b1 => -7r1c3 -7r2c3
g-whip[14]: r6n2{c8 c5}- r6n3{c5 c4}- c4n5{r6 r4}- r4c1{n5 n4}- r9c1{n4 n3}- r7n3{c2 c6}- r7n1{c6 c89}- c7n1{r9 r1}- c6n1{r1 r9}- c5n1{r9 r3}- r3n3{c5 c2}- r3n7{c2 c4}- c6n7{r1 r5}- r5n4{c6 .} => -2r4c7
STTE

N.B: this puzzle has a low W-rating (=4) but it’s not easy to reduce the number of steps. I found other solutions (rather boring):
2 steps in g-W10, 3 steps in W9, 4 steps in W8.

Hi François,
Thank you for your comment. I had a multi-step resolution that I had not published, here it is which should correspond to W7:
(-2r6c9)->6r6c9->6r3c8->2r3c9->... => -2r579c9
(-1r7c9)->4r7c9->4r4c2->8r4c8->1r4c7->2r9c7->1r7c8->... => -1r9c789, -1r7c6
(-8r4c8)->8r4c2->4r7c2->1r7c9->2r7c8->2r4c7->1r4c8->... => -2569r4c8 => -6r6c45
(-9r5c9)->8r5c9->8r4c2->4r7c2->1r7c9->2r7c8->9r9c7->... => -9r9c9, -9r4c7 => -9r5c56
(-7r5c5)->[2r5c5 et 7r5c6->4r5c1->4r9c9->8r9c8->9r9c7->2r4c7]->... 2r6 empty => r5c5=7
(-5r4c4)->5r6c4->(5r5c8->9r5c9)->8r5c3->4r4c2->... => -4r4c4 => r2c4=4
(-7r9c4)->7r3c4->3r3c2->3r7c6->... => -7r7c6 => r7c3=7
(-7r3c2)->3r3c2->4r7c2->8r4c2->1r4c8->1r1c7->1r9c6->7r9c4->... => -7r3c4 => r3c2=7, r9c4=7
(-3r3c4)->3r6c4->2r6c5->6r6c9->6r3c8->... => -6r3c4 => r3c4=3, r6c5=3 and end
Obviously, this can be optimized.
