question for handheld

Postby noah » Wed Jan 11, 2006 12:54 am

I have a handheld Sudoku game (Yes, it says Sudoku on it) and I am wondering if there are going to be puzzles that have more than one solution. I saw a thread that talked about it, but the example was an admittedly poorly designed puzzle. I understand that the official Sudoku game available for download will only ever have one solution, but what about the handheld?

Depends on the machine. I'm not sure there is a handheld that uses Pappocom puzzles. The one I've got is called "Sudoku Challenger", and I've never gotten a bad puzzle from it, though I hear tell that it does occasionally produce one.

I don't think that there are any "Official" products as the puzzle concept is in the public domain, we tend to talk about reputable suppliers such as Pappocom and Nikoli but there isn't really an Official sudoku
