This one's been around for a while and I keep coming back to it, but getting nowhere.
The original grid is

I've re-started it a number of times, get on to the same stage but no further:

There's got to be something in there to unlock it, but I'm blowed if I can see it. Can anybody help?

Have a close look at where 9's can go in column 2.

Does this allow eliminations in box 7 (and therefore to enter a candidate)?

Yes, that gives an elimination in box 7 and it just rolls on from there.
