hi guys, am scared to post this one coz im sure you guys will laugh - but im stuck and im sure what ive done so far is correct(?) here it is can anyone help me move forward ?

Well I could do with seeing the original puzzle, but from glancing at what you've got here it would seem there's a triple in the first row, namely cells 2, 7 and 9. These cells seem to be only able to contain the values 3, 5 and 8 which would mean that you can erase these particular possible values from every other cell in row 1. This helps a little in refining row 1's candidate structure, but without having a good look by dubbing it into a suitable program (by hand? Sorry I can't be bothered) I can't see any more from the information you've posted.

Just noticed - when you do what I said above you get a triple in row 6, namely cells 1, 4 and 8. That'll tell you what cell 9 is and I'm willing to bet that'll be the final tipping point.

There's a mistake in your pencil marks -- look at the 3s in column 4... after correcting that it's easy.
