I read this on top of this site.
When I start browsing the forum sometimes I'm automatically linked to
the PST site.
What's going on here?

Someone's hacked the forum. Apparently hacking forums is a very easy thing to do. Highly annoying though. You can work round it by clicking on a forum the second that the front page appears, then navigating round with the drop-down menu at the bottom.

Hopefully visiting that PST site has not been harmful in the sense
of getting viruses?

On a possibly-relayed note, I see we have a new Announcements forum, but it's not letting us see it...

Yup, it's a mod-only forum as far as posting goes. That part was actually intentional!
