After basic moves, a one step solution for this one is the ALS XZ:
A: r5c24; B: r468c5; X value 8; Z value 6; => -6r5c5; stte

A simple 1 stepper is a W Wing 38 r2c8, r5c4 linked by 3's in r25c2 => r5c8 <8>

stte except for 1 hidden double/naked triple in column 5

I also saw the W-Wing on 38 and screwed up on some basics, because I didn't see the finish line. The same W-Wing is connected by 8s in c5 so a 3 can also be eliminated from r5c8.

There is this continuous loop:

(3=8)r5c4 - (8)r45c5 = (8)r2c5 - (8=3)r2c8 - (3)r2c1 = (3)r5c2 - Loop
=> r4c4,r456c6 <> 8, r2c9 <> 8, r2c79 <> 3, r5c68 <> 3
But it doesn't collapse the puzzle

pjb's approach produces this very neat AIC:

(6=3)r5c2 - (3=8)r5c4 - (158=6)ANS:r468c5 => r5c5 <> 6

My more plodding approach navigated column 5 differently to make the same elimination:

(6=3)r5c2 - (3=8)r5c4 - (8)r45c5 = (8-7)r2c5 = (7)r5c5 => r5c5 <> 6
