No single digit elimination that gives an stte solution. Therefore we are looking for a move that takes out two or more digits. With a 9 in every cell, I thought a big fish or POM might work, but I've got nowhere. Looking forward to seeing the solution.

Hi Phil, there is a trick that takes out 22 candidates and gives an stte finish. It's not an exotic pattern but it is fairly extensively discussed on this site. I'll wait a few days for the old timers (some of whom are familiar with this trick) to respond, or for someone like yourself to read up on it. If no one responds I'll put you out of your misery.
